    19 === How to install a patch ===
    20 The 825 Gen2 file manager allows for various updates from USB or network (local or Internet).

    22 825 Gen2 indicators with version 1.21.004-02 or later also allow updates to be performed from the "Administration" web page.

    24 **Internet download/install**
    25 1.      Connect the 825 to a network with internet access
    26 2.      From the application menu select “File Manager”
    27 3.      Login – default ADMIN password: 81440
    28 4.      Select “Download an update file from Internet”
    29 5.      At the “Code:” prompt type the update code provided by Cardinal. Press ENTER
    30 6.      Display will show File “upd….” Downloaded successfully”.
    31 7.      Select “Install or update”
    32 8.      Display will show “Are you sure?” Click “Yes” to proceed.
    33 9.      Display will show “After shutdown – cycle power” after a few seconds the 825 will shutdown.
    34 10.     Turn the power off and back on.

    36 **USB Installation**
    37 1.      Copy the update file such as upd825_YYYY-MM-DD.tgz to a USB flash drive. Do not uncompress the file. The 825gen2 will do the extract and install.
    38 2.      From the application menu select “File Manager”
    39 3.      Login – default ADMIN password: 81440
    40 4.      Select “Choose an update file from USB Flash”
    41 5.      The prompt “Insert USB flash drive” will appear. Be sure the drive is inserted and click “Yes” to continue.
    42 6.      Select the appropriate file name that matches the update such as upd825_YYYY_MM_DD.
    43 7.      Select “Install or update”
    44 8.      Display will show “Are you sure?” Click “Yes” to proceed.
    45 9.      Display will show “After shutdown – cycle power” after a few seconds the 825 will shutdown.
