microSD Card Update

An 825 Gen2 indicator may be updated using a microSD card. This will wipe all data. Be sure to backup any customer data before performing the update.

Current Full Image

The current update download filename is c825gen2-2024-08-16.7z which is a 7-zip compressed archive containing the image file c825gen2-2024-08-16.img

After performing the install the versions shown on the 825gen2 will be:

OS/Std Apps1.21.004-00-5.15.60
Main board1.21.030
Loader1.21.001-2022.04

Diagnostics Menu - OS image build date 2024-08-16

Use an FTP program such as FileZilla to download the file. Contact your Cardinal Representative for download details.

Extract this file to a local drive to obtain the microSD card image file. Use a program such as BelenaEtcher to write the image to a microSD card.

The microSD card will be fully overwritten - any existing files on the card will be lost

Be sure to check that the correct destination drive of the microSD card is selected in BelenaEtcher before performing the write. An incorrect selection will overwrite another drive in or connected to your computer.

(Preferred microSD card size at least 16G).
