 The 825 Gen2 supports mDNS. We recommend setting the hostname to correspond with the serial number. For example, an indicator with serial number //E12345-0001// will have host name //825-E12345-0001//. From a local network instead of accessing the web page with the indicator's IP address {{{http://825-e12345-0001.local}}} may be typed in the browser address bar. If a certificate is properly configured {{{https://825-e12345-0001.local}}} may be typed in the browser address bar for a secure connection.
