Environment Setup

About

This document will discuss in detail how to setup your environment to program the Cardinal 825 Digital Weight Indicator.

Required Files

The following files should be included on the 8GB USB flash drive that was sent with your order.

• ​VMware Player - Required to run the Cardinal Fedora 11 825 programming package.
• Cardinal Fedora 11 825 programming package

Installing the Files

1. Download VMware Player from above.
2. Install VMware Player by double clicking on the icon.
3. Follow the steps listed choosing the default values to install.
4. Reboot your computer if required.
5. Copy the Cardinal Fedora 11 825 programming package to your computer.
6. Start VMware Player by going to Start -> Programs -> VMware and choosing VMware Player
7. Start the Cardinal Fedora 11 825 programming package by choosing Open and choosing the Cardinal Fedora 11 825.vmx file.
8. VMware will start and your environment is ready to use.
